Divinyls – Boys In Town

Divinyls’ promo-video for the hit single ‘Boys In Town’ (October, 1981) taken from the 1982 soundtrack album ‘Monkey Grip’ and the 1983 debut album ‘Desperate’.

This was the debut single released by the Sydney band featuring ex- Air Supply bassist Jeremy Paul, guitarist/songwriter Mark McEntee and singer Chrissie Amphlette.

Like AC/DC’s Angus Young, Amphlette took to wearing a school uniform and with her wild stage antics, made an impression in the live Sydney scene – particularly in Kings Cross.
